This is just kinda cruel and unusual punishment! We went from 57 degrees on Tuesday to -8 on Thursday night!! Last night was -6, and today it is snowing lightly at around 25 degrees. One could say that winter has arrived!

What a crappy day for Sunday. No race and RAIN off and on all day. Thursday, Friday and Saturday we had 70* weather during the day. Drops to 44 for the high today.
Suppose to rain off and on all week, BLAH!

As a result of the recent rains in the northwest most of the wet (west) side is no longer in a severe drought. Most of the dry (east) side of WA, OR and ID are still officially in extreme drought. It is not predicted but it would be nice to see some snow this year.
We are in the red.

Had a beautiful late fall day. It was sunny, 40, with a little breeze. Wish it would stay this way all winter. Hung my wash out and cleaned the garage. It was enjoyable being out. Tomorrow and Wednesday they are saying showers and maybe a chance of some flurries. Thursday and on into the weekend they are saying 50 and pleasant.
Ilene, hope you get that rain and snow you are needing. I would send you what we are to be getting as we aren't in bad need of moisture.

The Tri-Cities will be under a winter weather advisory from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 10 a.m. Wednesday as a weather system is expected to move across Eastern Washington, dropping a mix of snow and freezing rain.
Rain or freezing rain is forecast between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4 a.m. Wednesday in the Tri-Cities. The temperature should rise to about 29 degrees by 4 a.m., from an overnight low of about 26 degrees.
Rain is likely Wednesday night, possibly mixed with freezing rain, but temperatures will be warming. The low Wednesday night may be close to freezing. Highs could be back to 40 degrees Thursday and could reach 50o by Friday in the Tri-Cities.
The air stagnation advisory for the Tri-Cities has been extended until at least noon Friday.
Would rather have cold with snow or warm. This freezing rain is bad.
Well we got about two inches of snow over night. That is more than we had all last winter. Have to go out latter. Hope that the crazies that can't drive are not out.

I agree Ilene, freezing rain ranks right up there with High wind/tornados. Don't like or want to see either one. We had an ok day today, 40 and a little sun, clouds and a slight breeze.

46º right now, cloudy, windy. Tomorrow and Tuesday are to be 50 with 56 on Wednesday. This is insane warmth for December. El Nino must really be doing it's thing!

Forecast for today said 50oF. It made it up to 57o. Forecast for next two days is 55 and 63. Won't complain except it also says showers so the tumbleweeds won't dry out enough to burn.
