Transportation officials say Snoqualmie Pass has received more than 100 inches in the last seven days, nearly equaling the total for all last season. Last I heard I90 is still closed over the pass. Wednesday it closed, they advised people to wait until Thursday. East bound was open for a few hours last night. Only way between east and west WA is to go down through OR. But there was a mud slide that closed I5 about 30 miles into WA. They have two lanes open now.
Meanwhile 150 miles to the east, we are at 34oF with clouds. No snow for Christmas.
Looks like they got the pass open. Lots of Christmas plans had to be changed.

Yesterday the Weather Channel said we in Montrose had a 50% chance of less than an inch of snow. We woke up this morning with 4-5 inches and still snowing. I dug my way to my truck so we could go to church while it was still snowing, and had to clean everything off again to get back to the house. It finally stopped around 11 AM, and I'm guessing 6-8 inches. Now it's mostly sunny, but wind is stirring things a bit. LOVE my 4-wheel drive!!

It snowed some more last night. Woke up to another 3" of fluffy powder. It was easy to shovel away. Sunny now, but only 18 degrees...good day to stay indoors, although the kids all over town are out in force sledding.

Anyone want some freezing rain and sleet? Now waiting for the snow to start sometime tonight....we were lucky our hometown electric dept. did good, we didn't loose power at all, I still charged up my portable 02 to make sure I had something encase it went out....Thank God for that....
