We started out with some snow, now sleet, suppose to change over to rain as temps rise overnight. Definitely cooler than what we have been having.

Got another couple inches of snow last night in Montrose. Right now we have 21 degrees and cloudy...lots nicer than the lower teens of a few days ago.
We plan to head home on Saturday. Hopefully the roads will be good up through the mountains.

January 1, 2016. Temps are steady falling. Guess we can say WINTER has arrived. Boo Yuck! Spent the day watching movies, cooking and just plain relaxing. Smoked a beautiful pork roast that fell apart. added to Sauerkraut and had a perfect 1st day of the year meal.
Hope all are bundled up if the snow areas. So far none of that white stuff for us here in DE.

Yesterday we had SUN! It was so good to see it again and it was a beautiful sunset. Wishing for more of those days. Today is cloudy with falling temps. We came out of church with freezing mist/rain/snow. Had to scrape the windshield.

Yesterday had a strange combination of temperatures. We drove from Montrose (10º) to Grand Junction (20º) to Rifle (14º) to Meeker (-3º) to Craig (-7º), crossed over into Wyoming and saw 15º at Rawlins. It was 31º when we got to Casper, where we stayed the night.
This morning we left Casper at 24º and got to Gillette, where it's 37º right now. Tomorrow is supposed to be 44º and partly cloudy. Later in the week it gets colder with some snow potential.
Snow level here is very low...we might have an inch or two on the level. Hope springtime brings some moisture!!

Hit 45 degrees today and so sunny. Dicky, Pups and I played outside. Checked all the vehicles for winter cold temps. Ready for it or not atleast the cars are a go. Plow was checked over and fingers crossed we will not have to use it, but if needed we are ready.
Hopefully will maintain these 40-50 degree weather this week since I have airport runs to make.
