Looks Like Hermaine has veered off from DE. Has a few sprinkles this AM. Might have small shower this evening looking at the radar. Winds only were 12-20MPH which is really nothing for this area. we get stronger winds during a Northeastern.
SO Guess we will have a sunny Sunday and Monday for the holiday. Everyone enjoy their weekend.

It's gonna be a pretty nice week here, but breezy a few days. Temps are to be in the 60s with lows in the 40s. Wx Channel says next Monday will be 49 and 37. Gotta remember, as Chris reminded us, we're in one of the "ber" months!

The last couple days it has gotten "hotter." 91 yesterday and the same for today with showers and storms. The humidity is sky high. Need to work outside today, it will not be pretty. They are saying much cooler and lower humidity for next week.

I've been hearing that the Farmers' Almanac is calling for a more harsh than usual winter. Today on NPR they said it applies especially to the Chicago area. It'll be interesting to watch and see if this really does develop.

Yesterday we were sunny and 84. Today it is cloudy and 44º right now. There's just enough rain to keep the street damp. Tomorrow it's to be 56º with AM showers. Definitely late summer here!!!

High yesterday 67, today should be 70, tomorrow 72. This is refreshing after the muggy heat we had on Thursday 83 .

It's raining, it's pouring, The old man (me) is snoring!
It was great sleeping with it raining most of the night! It's still lightly raining this morning, and there's a good chance we'll get more today. What a GR8 sight, the drops splashing on the street and driveway! It's been a long time since we've had a continuous rain over several hours. Our high today is only supposed to be 47, with lots of wind, but it's a small price to pay for some critically-needed moisture! LOVE IT!

The sun is out today, and is supposed to be all week., but it's only 50º now.
We got 1.2 inches of rain yesterday, and a half inch the day before! That in itself is more than the average for the whole month! Wow, what a great feeling finally having some moisture to help the lawn sprinklers along. But the long-range forecast says we'll return to dryness. That's typical for fall here.

Today was around 70º, sunny and mostly calm. Right now we have a t-storm blowing through...LOTS of lightning and thunder, and it just started raining a little, but the storm is skirting around the west side of town, so I don't expect much.
Naturally since we are traveling tomorrow with the trailer the wind will be blowing 25-35 mph, temp will be low 60s, and partly cloudy. We're going east, and wind will be SSW to SSE, depending on where we are at any given moment.

Temps in the 60's, I think the rain may have finally moved out after a week of it swirling around. Suppose to be in the low to mid 70's this week with some sun. So far today there is no sun.

we have been running in the 60's since the weekend. Windows open and it is great sleeping. Small breezes make the curtains flutter. Not sure how Hurricane Matthew will deal with our coastline. First it was -- it is coming. Now we are getting reports of it rough surf only and maybe alittle rain. At this point who knows what we will get. Prayers for all those in Matthew's path.

Our trip across South Dakota was very windy...the trailer was swaying due to cross winds, and fuel consumption was pretty bad. We had a few showers off and on, temp was as high as 80 before the storms moved in. We spent the night in Presho, SD at a campground and got hit with a big t-storm that rained for hours.
Yesterday we drove on to Sioux Falls and the farther east we came the windier and wetter it got. Arrived mid afternoon and it started pouring in buckets...got 2.5 inches! Temp dropped to 40s this morning, but sun was out all day and got to 60s. Tomorrow there's to be more showers and only 50s.
I see that at home tonight and tomorrow are to be below freezing...YUCK!
