Well, I've been stuck in this same range for several months now. I told Nutrisystem that I was quitting them, mainly for dollar savings, and because I've been doing quite well at maintaining on my own. I gain a bit, I lose a bit, I gain again and lose again. Everything has been in a 4 pound variance, so I'm quite pleased with my results. It's just so darned easy to cheat! Anyway, I've gone from daily weighings to weekly. I'll see how that works out during the rest of summer.
I wish I could say I had more energy and felt lighter but I don't. If anything, I'm less energetic...or more lazy. I never have been one to get much involved in exercise beyond daily chores and movements. My walks with Snickers have become less enjoyable and more of a load, but I continue to do them...SHE is so demanding! LOL!

I've been on a maintenance "plan" for a couple months now. I put quotes around "plan" because it is more a conscious effort than a particular plan. I'm just paying more attention to portion sizes and trying my best to limit snacks. And it seems to be working! I weighed today, and am Austin Dillon from my desired goal. That's the same range I've been in for several months. So I am feeling pretty good about this.
Lorraine is very frustrated. She has stopped losing despite s few different efforts at shedding pounds. Whatever she does, things just seem to stay the same. I wish I knew what to suggest to help her!

Well, shucks! I was doing quite well for quite awhile, then we took a couple trips, and I guess I forgot to pay attention. I weighed the other day and have gained Danica back!!
So, I'm back to conscious dieting again and am suffering the consequences, that is, hunger! But I'm not frantic about it, so will just ease off things a bit and see what happens. You know, only two cookies instead of three...that sort of thing. I'm still Chris Buescher lower than my heaviest...that's progress!!

Nan, I know of what you speak! The difficulty of moving beyond a plateau is strong. I don't understand what it is about our bodies that we get to that certain level and just can't seem to get beyond it. But at that point I guess we could call it success that we're at least not gaining! But nevertheless it's frustrating to be trying hard and getting nowhere.
Hang in there and keep the faith. Something good will happen one of these days.

As I said before, I've gained Danica back, plus Kevin, so I total tony (or Clint Boyer). I've been holding that for awhile now, so am at least not gaining any more, but it is difficult to maintain! I just want to eat everything in the house. We ran out of cookies over a week ago, and I am craving desserts!
I have no trouble eating a small breakfast, and lunch is pretty easily controlled most of the time, but supper is my killer! Raine is a good cook, and she always fixes enough for leftovers. So I eat more than I should, and then still want something before bedtime. I struggle to control that.
But as I said, I'm holding where I'm at, so my situation isn't declining. I'll just keep on trying. Maybe when spring gets here I can do more activity outside...we'll see.

Three years ago I lost Johnson plus 2. The last half of the '16 season I gained back Patrick. Since the first of the year I have lost Trevor Bayne. Haven't been trying but just stopped the snacking. If I can keep up this mindset might just get down to where I want to be. Actually I am proud of myself for keeping that much weight off for three years.

When I take long road trips I usually snack and drive, resulting in weight gain. Was surprised, during the past 31 days I lost Harvick.
Did I learn anything on the trip that will keep me on track? Will see how things go.

Well, time has passed and my weight is back to where I started several years ago. This week I started the SlimFast diet, mainly because it's cheaper than NutriSystem...a LOT cheaper. I have a powdered shake for breakfast usually with a banana (potassium) and some tea. Lunch is another shake, often with some pieces of fruit all mixed with a blender, and, since I am a man, I get 200 calories of something else like cheese or lunchmeat or nuts. Supper is a "sensible meal" of whatever would normally be cooked. I'm allowed a small (100 calories or so) snack between meals and at bedtime, but so far I haven't needed them much. Daily goal is around 1600 calories. I'm kinda counting them, but not religiously. So far I think I'm running a little under 1600 most days.
I foresee that if this works, I will most likely need to keep using the shakes to maintain my weight. It's just too easy to gobble all day without a plan!

That is the truth.

OK, I am beginning the 3rd week of this current effort. This last week I lost Kurt Bush, and total loss so far is Ryan Newman. They claim typical loss is Kurt to Brad Keselowski each week. The first week I dropped between Kevin and Ryan, but I'm sure that was likely mostly water. Now the struggle begins.
As I said, I'm using SlimFast. It's not all that difficult, although I know I've been eating too much of the allowed stuff. I need to trim that back and be more conscious of what I'm doing. Yeah, I feel hunger pangs, but aren't we supposed to as a new meal draws near? Onward!!...

OK, this past week I lost Kurt Bush again, giving me a total loss of Tyler Reddik. I probably could lose more each week, but I'm not being as active (exercising) as I should be. But that's OK by me...I want this to be a steady decline in weight. I don't care how long it takes, I want to establish better than before how to lose it and keep it off. My plan seems to be working so far!

Things are progressing as I have hoped. This week I lost almost Keselowski. My total loss since starting is between Chase Elliott and Aric Almirola.
The visible sign I see is that my too-tight jeans I can now fasten the button while standing instead of having to lie on the bed to get my belly squeezed down!! It's always encouraging when you can detect positive evidence that things are happening!!
