Atlanta Motor Speedway is a 1.54-mile quad-oval. For most of the 1990s and 2000s, the track boasted the highest speeds on the NASCAR circuit, with a typical qualifying lap speed of about 193 mph. Atlanta Motor Speedway has found another use: it has been used as a shelter for evacuees from several hurricanes.

Maybe we can have a race this weekend instead of a demolition derby.

Congrats Ilene. You mustn't worry so much about your score during the race!
I don't think I've ever had two consecutive triple-digit scores!
Diane, I hope this isn't a preview of the whole season!!

My drivers were not doing too great but they managed to stay away from the wrecks. That enabled them to move toward the front as the race went on. Sometimes it isn't how fast you can go but whether you can keep driving until the end.
