It's reported that Micheal Bloomberg spent $500 million on his short but failed campaign.
There are around 327 million people in the USA. What might have happened if he had instead given $1.5 million (500 divided by 327) to each and every person here? THAT would be proof positive that you CAN buy the Presidency! And it would have brought our entire population out of poverty.
It would have been money MUCH better spent!

Check the math.
$500,000,000 / $327,000,000 = $1.53

Ahhh, the trips and pratfalls of those darned zeros!! That and the "millions" got me again. Maybe he could have given $10 million to each of the 50 states!

US should give citizens $1,000 a month to limit coronavirus impact on economy

Was listening to the Senate debate on the coronavirus response package. One of the Republican Senators made a brilliant statement, I don't know who he was.
The brain is a marvelous organ. It starts working while still in the mother's womb and stops working when elected to Congress.

I saw that quote yesterday in an article I read. Yes it is truth! Politicians do have a purpose, but not very often.
