RVs are a great way for families and friends to travel and spend time together and some of your best camping memories will be made in your RV

Hi David, welcome to Turn2.
My wife and I have done camping for probably 40 years. We started out with our kids in a tent. Then we got an old pop-up camper trailer and used it for some years. After that came a Hi-Lo trailer, then a 25" travel trailer, and we now have a 28" travel trailer. I pull it with an F-150 Ecoboost. We've traveled all over the USA except for the deep southeast and south central part of the country. RVing does give one a freedom that can't really be matched.
Are you a NASCAR fan? That's what this forum is REALLY about, but as you can see from the message board, we talk about everything.
Glad to have you aboard. Tell us a little about yourself.

Welcome to Turn2 davidsperks.
While the main topic of this board is NASCAR we have many interests and as long as it doesn't get out of hand all ideas and thoughts are welcome.
I have a 19 foot Roadtrek. Two years ago I took a six week drive from Washington to DC. Along the way I visited with many of the Turn2 members. The RV might cost more in fuel but you save in motel bills. It is also nicer to be able to sleep in your own bed parked in a friend's driveway than disrupt their routine and sleep on a coach.
This summer I will probably spend a moth wondering around Montana. Have a wedding to attend on the 4th of July and a class reunion on 31st of July. The RV allows you to change plans or just stay in one place and enjoy whoever you meet or move on for more adventures.
It is perfect for attending a NASCAR race. It is small enough you can park in regular parking. While waiting for the race you can fix your own meal, not the expensive stuff at the track or take a nap. After the race, instead of fighting with everyone to get out, you can relax in your own home.

With Daniels expected arrival End of June, I wont be able to do it. I'm saving my time off for Grammy visits to NC, especially for the birth!
