This is what a race track looks like. No racing, they are out marking the track. I can't imagine taking any vehicle over some of this.

Sometimes the drivers need a bit of help.

First the race was delayed 24 hours due to rain. Robby has been stuck 160 miles from the finish for almost an hour. His is asking for assistance. Time for me to get some sleep.

34 hours, eight minutes - Robby crossed the finish line. Looks like 7th place. There are still a lot of vehicles out on the course. This was one rough race.

1st video: The farther they went, the worse things got! I commented on chat that it looked drivable, but at that point I was only halfway through the video. After resuming watching it, I'd never take MY vehicle in some of those places! I figured you could take a 4x4 pickup through most of it, but the Lincoln Navigator and the slew of other vehicles sitting dead on the roadside makes me think otherwise. Interesting that they don't use helicopters to remove the "trash". Must be too costly.
2nd video: There is NOTHING about that form of racing that looks fun to me, even as a spectator.!!!
Kudos to those who build, maintain and race those machines...they are something else!
