NASCAR season is about to begin. Sunday 10 Feb at 3 p.m. ET, drivers will start their engines for the Clash. This will be a practice for the Turn2 race game. Points will not count. After three months most of us need this practice to get back into the swing. There have been a few changes with new numbers and new teams. Below is a list of the drivers for the Clash. Pick your top five.

This was a chance for all of use to get our brains back into the racing mode. These points don't count for the Turn2 championship. The final results do not reflect the racing ability of the drivers. Menard did real well leading for 52 laps of the 59 laps that were run. Next week we will get into the real racing.

Wow, 36 is a pretty low score for Daytona.

Wow, 36 is a pretty low score for Daytona. Remember this was NOT the Daytona 500 or 400. This was 20 drivers for a scheduled 75 lap "race." It could be called the Daytona 188. We will see higher scores next week.

Granted, there were only 20 cars, but 17 of them were involved in the "accident". A score of 36 is still pretty good.
It would have been interesting if the rain hadn't come to see how many cars could have continued.
