Here we are again, at the beginning of winter. It's often a depressing time, but yet inspiring. We see the deadness of the cold and dreary, but each day brings a bit more daylight and a little less darkness. We long for the growth of spring and the warmth of summer.
Ilene, notice I didn't say the days are getting longer...24 hours is allotted to each! LOL.
Happy winter to all and bth_Smiley-Christmas2

Historically the coldest day of the year here is between 21 and 25 December. This is forecast to be warmer than normal so maybe no snow and a gradual warm up from here on out. Today's high 40o with an overnight low of 34o. No white Christmas

It is good to be gaining a few minutes a day more of daylight instead of losing them. We actually have some peeks of sun today. We have more clouds than sunshine these days. Ready for sun and warm.
