Sorry I haven't been around for a while. I have a lot going on. First i got divorce after 23 years of marriage. It was very respectful and we still talk and help each other out.I been working on
my health. In November i weighted 342 lbs today I weight 278 lbs that's 64 lbs lost . I still want to lose another 100 lbs. I went to doctor in Feb.my sugar level was really high 245 today its down to 139 that's down 104 points. My doctor can't believe my progress. I have stopped by the chatroom a few times but no one Is around. . I hope everyone is healthy and doing well.I try stopping by more often if I can. I haven't forgot about you guys.

Nice to hear from you. Congratulations on your health improvements.
Chat does stay fairly quiet. There are a few that gather during the races and occasionally on Wednesday evenings.

Kidd, I'm sorry to hear of your divorce. I'm glad that you both are still friendly. I'm delighted to hear of your weight loss! That's fantastic! What have you done to lose so much? Using NutrisystemI lost 40 lb a year or two ago, but have gained most of it back. It's difficult to keep it off...it just so easily comes back on. I wish you good luck with continuing your losing streak!
Ilene is right...chat room is mostly dead except during races. May 4 or 5 will show up for races, but usually there's only 2 or 3. Evening chats hardly ever occur anymore. Sure would like you to come see us during next Sunday's race at Pocono.

Bob I made a few changes in my eating . I quit drinking po4p and sweet tea. I don't eat cakes, candy,chips ,bread,potatoes . I cut down on sugar and carbs. I don't eat anything for 12 hours. I drink a lot of water. Its not a dietplan i follow I just watch what i eat. Lately I have been using a app.called my fitness pal. Its free app from under armor , It helps you stay in your calorie plan. All you do is put in your weight and what you want to weight it will tell you how many calories to reach that goal. I walk when I can but you do even have to exercise to lose weight. Give it a try.

Kidd, so glad you are getting results with your plan. I don't drink a lot of pop, maybe 2-3 cans a week. I do eat cakes, chips, bread and potatoes, but not much candy. One of my big downfalls is cookies...it's so easy to grab another one, and another! With the Nutrisystem the portion sizes were so controlled. I tend to put too much on my plate and then decide I want more! I also sometimes will finish off what my wife leaves on her plate. We were both on Nutrisystem at the same time, so neither of us had leftovers.
I just need to stop eating so much...plain and simple. I don't exercise much, although I do chores around the house. I walk the dog almost daily, but not as long as I should. I do have some joint problems, and things hurt a lot. Usually walking awhile loosens things up, but by then I'm tired of hurting!
Thanks for replying and explaining your plan. As I said, I just need to man up and get more will power. Lots of people do it...I reckon I can too with enough determination.
