I am not sad to see Boehner going. I wish it was now, not the end of October. And I hope Mitch McConnell is next!
These two, among other Republicans, campaigned on getting things in Congress under control. Instead, they just fell right back into their old pattern of helping accomplish the Democratic platforms they promised to help overcome. They have been traitorous to the people and to the country. Good riddance to John, and here's big raspberry to Mitch!
The problem comes when we begin to look for replacements. Washington is crammed full of "good ole boys" who have lots of seniority. They will be the ones tapped to fill empty positions. The Tea Party members and those more-conservative leaning members don't have a chance because of the cronyism that exists in DC. I'm sad to admit that I don't think we can turn this country around without a revolution of some sort!
Shaking my head............
