I know it's not political, although the media is running the story to death. I'm so sick of hearing about it.
But anyway, what are your thoughts? Should the Patriots be penalized? How much?
At this point, I think the whole matter should be dropped. It's obvious that the cheated balls didn't affect the outcome of the game with the Colts. Also drop the regulation that governs the pressure of the footballs. As I heard a commentator say, let the teams play with the ball inflated however they want...if they want it flat, fine; if they want it at 50 lb, fine. Or, better yet, share the ball the way they do in basketball...both teams handle the same ball.

Drop the entire issue. Let's just go to the next game and let the Seahawks win. ?

I am not much of a football fan and had no idea the balls where provide by each team and had to have x amount of PSI. If its going to be an issue I say, let the ref's provide the balls randomly.

I don't follow football too closely and had no idea that the NFL didn't provide the footballs for the games. To me, my opinion would be the NFL provides all footballs, the same for all games and teams. The refs are in charge of inflating them... Issue ended, they have made their own mess by letting the teams have different football choice.

Well, today's the big game. Since I don't have any favorites, I'll probably root for whoever is behind at the moment...although, knowing Ilene is a Seahawks fan, and me not knowing any Patriots fans, I am leaning a bit towards the Hawks.
I am so glad the hype will soon be over (allow several days for after-game hashing and rehashing). I haven't paid any attention whatsoever for the last week, other than what I've overheard while the radio or TV was on. I understand the Pats are maybe 3 point favorites.
Just wanted to get that off my chest. I still find I'm not drumming up any personal interest in racing yet...that might come along next week or so. Maybe..........
