Went grocery shopping today at Safeway. The clerk reminded me I had 70 fuel points (70¢ off per gallon) that would expire tonight. So I filled up at $2.26!!
Being retired is really being nice to my vehicle wear-and-tear, and to my gas bill. We simply don't drive hardly anywhere. In the time that we've been here (since October) I have filled the car once. Well, today made it two. And I haven't yet filled the pickup. Going places in the winter just doesn't appeal much to either of us.
I guess I shouldn't complain about the price of gas since I use so little of it...

Down another penny $2.71. If they are going to keep going up and down by a penny why not leave it at the same price?
Down a few more today $2.68.
