Prices are varying quite a bit as we travel across the northern part of the U.S. We've paid everywhere from 2.30 to 2.60. Thankfully the 36-gallon tank I have gives us a good range, and we can be selective to some degree as to where we buy. I also am carrying 10 gallons in cans in case I stretch things too far.

For a change I lucked out buying closest to us.
