Dang Blang it. We jumped 1.59 to 1.69. Unbelievable.
Hope this is not a sign of prices rising again. Rocky summer if so.

We dropped down to $1.78 two days ago.
Heard that gas is $5 in some parts of California.

In the last 2 weeks we have gone from $1.59 to $1.89 per gallon. I heard on the radio that gas is going to go up for the summer . Still not as bad as last year but why can't it go up as slow as it comes down .
bth_Smiley-Christmas2 just thought I would throw this one in since I am already seeing the so many days til Christmas crap . Don't want to be out of sinc .

Of course gas will go up for the summer. It was down during winter when not nearly so many people can travel. Why should the oil companies miss a chance to screw their customers just because the price of oil is down? It's the American way!

Louisiana is underwater. Most gas comes thru that area from the drilling fields in the gulf. SO gas is climbing since they can't get gas to shore. Not just the season change causing increases. We have enjoyed lower prices and people have been traveling and making plans. Now gas jumps and panic sets in. It will calm down again once gas is able to be moved without causing a spill.
Supply and demand. Consumers are still demanding and owners can't supply.

Maybe since our gas comes from the refineries over around Puget Sound, our prices won't go up that much. But it is nice to see that others are paying more than we are. It won't last long.

... but why can't it go up as slow as it comes down . Agree with that.
Price here sat at $1.82 for over a month then dropped to $1.78 and five days latter went back to $1.82. Now six days latter it is up to $1.85.
