We're not using enough gas to really make any gains from this...trip to the store, to church, to the fire station, repeat. I haven't filled either vehicle in over a month. If we end up going somewhere, then it'll make a difference.

My fuel points through my grocery shopping are about to expire, so yesterday I filled the Escape. Since I needed less than a half tank, I used 85 octane instead of the usual 87. With the 20¢ discount, I paid 1.30 for it. The 87 octane full price is 1.70.

Still seems kinda high compared to others parts of the country. But I'm not whining...it beats the heck out of $3.50!!
