Can't wait till Randy posts.... you are such a teaser Ilene. 4 of my drivers did really good being in the TOP 5----however Denny killed my score this week. Guess we won't find out till tomorrow. Have a Happy Sunday. Bored with no race on today.

I just post who I think have done well in practices and qualifying and go with it! Don't pay or even look to see who anyone else has picked!

I try to pick whoever is doing well for the year, knowing that all drivers are going to have at least a couple Mulligans during the course of the season. What makes it difficult is at the beginning of the year...no-one has any trends showing yet!!! Example: Despite Carl's win last week, he's having a lousy year, so I seldom pick him anymore. That's my system, and I'm sticking to it!

Well Randy and some buddies took their motorcycles up to Chicago this weekend and he won't be back until Monday night. So again you get to take chances that my calculations are correct. If you see any errors let me know and we will double check. I think that Randy might have rigged things before he left. Lots of good picks this week.
Congratulations sandstorm88
23 Sandstorm 27 Grandma 28 Davishaus 30 88Cars 30 Spoiler 33 Cathy 37 Rudy 38 Greg 39 Jamardj 40 Kevin 41 Hangman 47 Fire 50 Jerry 54 Sugar 57 Beth 58 Mtwomn 60 Nancheri 67 Jamin 89 Diane 91 Smoke 200 sweetthangpat
I might have to change my self-imposed rule for when someone takes my numbers. Could have been tied for second place instead of trailing at the bottom. Think that this week I will just copy grandmaoffive's picks. The last three weeks she had two wins and a second place. On a run.

Not that it matters since sweetthang isn't playing, but shouldn't her score be 205?

There were only 42 cars in the field.
But since Randy wasn't around I made up the rule. He may want to change things.

I don't know if you want to do that Ilene! Bout that time my picks will all get wrecked or blow an engine or hit the wall or who knows what-and next week is Daytona, which is a crapshoot anyway!

.
I don't know if I've ever seen a field with only 42 cars in it in the modern era!! Pretty amazing with all the "start & park" teams available out there.

Looking at Sonoma, 43rd only earned $58,350. Michigan 43rd earned $56,570. For a start and park to break even it is tough. That does not cover the cost of a car. Start and parks do not get the sponsors that pay the big bucks. Just ask someone like Robby Gordon.
