Why should 16 miles make such a difference? Topped off while there.

I paid 2.20 yesterday.

Apparently the "association" in Gillette has broken up. It used to be that all stations charged the same price. Yesterday I noticed some stations at 2.20, others 2.23, and one at 2.25.

My car usually takes around 10 gallons on a fill, so that's a potential savings of only 50¢ for me. But for the pickup, which can take over 30 gallons at a time, I can save $1.50 just by going across the street in some cases. My vehicles seem to perform equally well on different brands of gas, so I'm all in on saving whenever I can.
