Paid 3.50 in Simi Valley, CA. The pump shut me off at $100. It was nearly full, so I called it ok.

Two days ago the price dropped 3 cents. Today it dropped another 10 cents to $3.03. Had to drive over to Kennewick today and saw one station at $2.93. Might be heading in the right direction.

$3.05 here in Montrose at most stations. We have Safeway and City Market (aka Krogers, Smith's) grocery stores here which offer gas discounts based on grocery purchases. The more you eat, the higher your discount, which I think tops out at 30¢ per gallon. That's worth taking advantage of!

The Kroger/Fred Meyer/Smiths/Ralphs/City Market program will go up to $1.00 per gallon under special cases such as using the Kroger credit card. I have gotten .55 before but usually can't get it built up that high. Their rewards also gives a quarterly reward that you can spend in the store. Today I got $92 worth of groceries without paying anything. It is nice when traveling as the stores cover a good portion of the country. The quarterly rewards are on everything you spend in the store plus anything on your credit card. The fuels points are only build on what is spent inside Kroger/Fred Meyer/Smiths/Ralphs/City Market.
