Almost drove off the road when I saw it. Today's price is $3.35.
Even worse-a 23oz can of Peace Tea went from $.99 to $1.29. Guess I will just make my own ice tea. But it is so easy when I am driving to just stop and purchase something to drink.

I saw an article yesterday that said the prices have already started to drop some. I hope Ginny's sighting is a good indicator of that!

Here in Gillette the 85 octane is 2.73. That's what I used in the pickup coming home from Montrose, but it was 2.84 with a 10¢ grocery discount.

Ours has risen again to 2.80 for regular in most stations. As I've said before, here in Gillette 3 grades of gas are sold: "regular" is 85 octane; "super" or whatever else they call it is 87 octane,; and "premium" is around 93 octane.
The other day I stopped at a certain station to fill, and the 87 octane was the lowest grade on their pump...and it was 2.80! That's 15-20¢ savings per gallon!
