Up again. Now $2.59.

They are blaming part of the increase to the new minimum wage which is now $11.00 per hour up from $9.47.
The increase in prices also applies to other purchases. Have seen a number of items while grocery shopping that seemed to be higher priced. There is a sign in Subway stating that they will not be taking part in national advertised promotions and their increased prices are because of the new minimum wage.

So those that work for minimum wage will earn more but most likely will be spending more for necessities.

Saw a report recently from the Seattle area that food service job numbers are down, mostly due to the higher minimum wage and fewer customers because of higher prices. Who didn't see that coming?...Obviously the legislators who voted in the newer wage.
